Brand new PowerDirector 7 by Cyberlink is your complete production studio for editing & publishing home movies. It is available in two different versions, depending on your specific needs when it comes to video creation and editing.
Both versions offer great online features such as DirectorZone, direct easy access to Flickr, and so on. You will also get all PowerDirector's great automated and advanced editing features and tools, as well as the ability to import video and audio content from a wide variety of sources.
The Differences
The differences between PowerDirector 7 and PowerDirector 7 Ultra mainly lay in their options for publishing and sharing videos.
For instance, AVCHD format is only available in PowerDirector Ultra, whereas MPEG-2 HD and WMV-HD are available in both versions. Additionally, there is a difference in the Blu-ray Disc and DVD authoring features. Blu-ray Disc authoring is only available in PowerDirector Ultra, and when it comes to DVD authoring, you will get additional features in the Ultra version that you can't get in the regular PowerDirector. These additional features include AVCHD on DVD and BD content on DVD.
